Runner Guide
Operational guidance for participants. All timings, rules and venue details remain provisional until formally published by the organising committee.
1. Before registering
Select a distance appropriate to your age, training history and current health. Participants with cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, orthopaedic or other relevant medical conditions should obtain professional medical advice before entering.

2. Registration information
- Enter accurate name, date of birth, gender, contact and emergency details.
- Select the correct T-shirt size; exchanges may not be possible.
- Use only the official registration platform and retain payment confirmation.
- Read the cancellation, transfer, waiver and privacy terms before payment.
3. Race expo and bib collection
The proposed expo is Saturday, 26 September 2026, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Bring the registration QR or confirmation and an original government-issued photo ID. Race-day bib collection is not recommended.
4. Race-day checklist
- Official bib fixed visibly on the front of the torso.
- Weather-appropriate running clothing and already-tested footwear.
- Required personal medication, where medically advised.
- Travel plan that accounts for road closures and parking restrictions.
- Light, familiar pre-race nutrition and adequate hydration.

6. On-course conduct
- Follow the marked course, marshals, police personnel and medical instructions.
- Do not exchange bibs, cut the course or use unauthorised assistance.
- Keep left or follow the published lane protocol; allow faster runners to pass.
- Dispose of cups and packaging only in designated collection zones.
- Stop and seek medical support for chest pain, severe breathlessness, confusion, faintness or unusual distress.
7. Hydration and medical support
Hydration stations, first-aid points, ambulances and medical response teams should be mapped in the final guide. Participants remain responsible for appropriate pacing, preparation and compliance with medical advice.
8. Finish line and results
Finishers should move through medal, hydration and refreshment zones without blocking the finish chute. Provisional results should be followed by a defined dispute window before final publication and certificate generation.
9. Prohibited items and conduct
Weapons, hazardous materials, alcohol, illegal substances, unauthorised commercial promotion, abusive behaviour and any action that risks participant safety should be prohibited. Strollers, pets, bicycles and personal support vehicles should be allowed only if explicitly approved for a category.
